We support the American Heart Association’s National Wear Red Day by dressing our desserts in Red.
Cardiovascular disease claims the lives of nearly 500,000 American women each year, yet women were not paying attention. In fact, many even dismissed it as an “older man’s disease.” To dispel these myths of heart disease as the No. 1 killer of women, the American Heart Association, along with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute created National Wear Red Day® to raise awareness of this critical issue. Each year, on the first Friday in February, millions of women and men come together to wear red, take action and commit to fighting this deadly disease. At Creative Cuisine we not only wear red on this day we find other creative ways to support the cause.
Our pastry chefs created a stunning all red dessert buffet to show support for National Wear Red Day held the first day of February each year. Some of the confections created included: Mini Red Velvet Bundt Cakes, Mini Cherry Cheesecake Parfaits, Mini Raspberry Mousse Cups, Mini Strawberry Macaroons, Mini Red Candy Apples, Pomegranate Popcorn, Red Apple Jelly Bellys, Candy Coated Jordan Almonds, Red Swedish Fish, Raspberry Fruit Slices, Red M & M’s
